Patene was founded in 1955 as a single location masonry supply company on Victoria Street in Kitchener, Ontario. Since that time, through organic growth and a number of acquisitions, Patene has grown into a network of 13 locations throughout Ontario and Manitoba. Branches are located throughout Southwestern Ontario, Thunder Bay and Winnipeg, Manitoba. Patene has also expanded its product offering significantly and are now leaders in distribution of gypsum, insulation, roofing, masonry, and landscape building materials.
